While several recipients of the iSchools Project has been moving forward, trekking the ladder of information technology, there are also few who were abruptly stopped from their technological advancement. No matter how all systems are set to earn the maximum benefits of the gift of technology, including the mindset, at times, the events can go wrong, absolutely the opposite of what is envisioned. One among the few is the case of the Carlos Albert High School situated at Brixton Hill, Barangay Santol, Quezon City. |

After about a year or two of waiting to be visible in the line of sight of internet providers, nine (9) more Public High School under the tutelage of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) iSchools Project are connected to the internet. The schools namely: CLSU Laboratory High School - Palusapis, Exequiel R. Lina High School , Paradise Farm Hs, Sto Rosario High School, Partida National High School, Mayapyap National High School, CLSU-Science High School, Norzagaray National High School, Sta. Cruz National High School rejoice that internet connection is now accessible in their area. |

Teachers Thumbs up on Paradigm Shift in Education |

For the series of CLSU hosted iSchools activities namely Computer and Internet Literacy Course, PC Recycling Training and other related activities of the iSchools an informal poll on Shift on the paradigm of learning is being asked to the participating public high school teachers. The Old School versus the 21st Century Pedagogy wherein the Old School described in the aid of board, chalks, Manila paper while the latter is characterized by a multimedia learning directed both on the teachers and the students. Majority thumbs up on the 21st Century Pedagogy and displayed a broader perspective that learning is a complementing endeavor that has a rippling effect to both the mentors and students.

CICT and CLSU iSchools to Stage PC Recycling 2.0 |

After the successful staging of the PC Recycling Project 1 last April and May 2010, positive feedbacks and request for another cycle of the project has been received by the CLSU iSchools Project Management Office. With the kind of vigor the project has ignited to technology enthusiastic Public High School Teachers, the CICT has finally responded positively. The Central Luzon State University has entered into a new Memorandum of Agreement with the CICT to host another wave of the PC recycling Project dubbed as PC Recycling 2.0. |
